Newsletter November 2023

Enjoy three art exhibitions in November! 🌟

You are invited to two solo exhibitions during November
starting with renowned Peak District artist

SUE PRINCE

‘Out of Doors and Dancing’

The exhibition will run from:

1st – 15th November

Out of Doors and Dancing

Sue is a contemporary folk artist who tells stories through her art, responding to current events, celebrating rural life and commenting on our society. She makes her own egg tempera paint from egg yolk and often paints on Herringbone weave linen in true folk art tradition.

The exhibition was initially inspired by the Nine Ladies Dancing stone circle at Stanton in Peak. Sue went on to see dancing everywhere, in the mystical wind-blown branches of weeping willow and then in the human interaction with outside and nature and then just in the joyous colours and shapes of nature.

See more about Sue and her work on her artist page.

If you cannot make it to the gallery, browse the online exhibition that will be on our website from 2nd of November.

Our next solo exhibition during November
will be with one of central England’s most prominent artists

LEWIS NOBLE

Opening Saturday 18th November

with a selection of old and new work
The exhibition will run from:

18th to 30th November
