Michèle Snape was born in Burgundy, relocating to Jersey over thirty years ago.

She paints on canvas, alternating between different sizes, medium and subject matters, enjoying the challenge this approach offers. 

Michèle’s style is quite free with vigorous brushstrokes and vibrant colours.

She keeps her motivation and creativeness alive by experimenting with strong compositions, contrasting elements and play of light and shadow.

Her works are full of energy, simply oozing the colours and fragrance of her native Channel Isles.
