Daniel Darker has always worked in the arts following his art diploma and degree in three dimensional design. An MA degree in interior design and a post at a large architectural company laid open a host of commercial design projects. 

There came a point where Daniel’s appetite for working for others wained and he set up his own design business, Intoto Arts and Crafts. His designs won the coveted ‘Gift of the Year’ accolade at the Royal Collage of Art and the business achieved a regional business award. Daniel has been running this business now for over thirty years, many of these years with his wife and business partner, artist Wendy Darker. 

Daniel has had an interest in pottery for many years and even met Wendy at a pottery evening course! In the last two years this has led to a more professional relationship with clay and Daniel now sells his sculptures commercially. The main subject matter is wildlife in which both Danny and Wendy have a huge interest. They are frequently away studying various wildlife habitats for inspiration for the next art projects.
