A simple title says it all, this exhibition celebrates the natural beauty of Derbyshire. 
 
Colin paints en plein air and all the work in this exhibition has indeed been painted outside on location using thick, pure oil paint. Painting on location helps to get the right colours and atmosphere and feel of a place.
 
Painting for nearly 40 years now Colin has much experience and it shows. What can sometimes look simple, is anything but as anyone who paints will know.
