Paul joined the Courtney Gallery fairly recently and this will be his first solo exhibition with us. We are delighted that this native Yorkshireman has swopped his previous career as a hair stylist to become a full-time artist, a decision that has seen him win both critical acclaim and awards. 

His paintings are mainly mixed media, creating local landscapes that reflect earth, water, air and the weather of all the seasons. He masterfully captures light and shadows, thus evoking an intimate mood and feel of each individual location at any given time.
While some of Paul’s paintings in the exhibition are celebrating the onset of spring with a burst of colour, there are also more demure and moody pieces that illustrate the skill and versatility of the artist.
The exhibition will be on from 25th March – 15th April.
